05Killing of two surrendering Palestinian men during Israeli raid in Jenin
- Hands up, shirts lifted, surrendering on camera — then shot.
- The UN called it what the video shows: “a summary execution.”
- The surrender procedure had been underway for hours before they were killed.
On 27 November 2025, Israeli forces shot dead two Palestinian men, Al-Muntasir Billah Abdullah, 26, and Youssef Asasa, 37, during a raid in Jenin in the occupied West Bank, after video showed the men emerging from a building with their hands raised and shirts lifted in apparent surrender. The UN human rights office said it was appalled by what it called a "summary execution," the rights group B'Tselem said the footage showed an execution of men who had surrendered, and the Israeli military said the men were wanted militants and that it was investigating the incident.
